everyone asks.

Common questions about booking, rates, sessions, revisions, and everything else. Don't see yours? Reach out directly.

Booking & Pricing

01How much does voice over cost?+

Rates depend on usage, length, and exclusivity. A national commercial is priced differently than a training module or an indie animation. For most projects, expect a flat quote within a business day of your inquiry.

02Do you have a minimum booking fee?+

Yes. There's a minimum session fee to cover the time spent reading the brief, recording, editing, and delivering files, even on small projects. The exact minimum varies by category.

03What are your payment terms?+

Standard terms are Net 30. For larger projects or new clients, Jenna may request a deposit up front. She's happy to work with your accounts payable team on PO numbers and invoicing formats.

Sessions & Delivery

01What's your typical turnaround?+

24 to 48 hours for most projects from kickoff to final delivery. Rush turnarounds are available with notice and may carry a small premium. For large projects, timeline is discussed during the quote phase.

02Can we direct live over Source-Connect / Zoom?+

Absolutely. Jenna's studio is set up for Source-Connect, Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams. Her Source-Connect ID is jennapinchbeck. Just send her the session time and she'll be ready to go.

03How many takes do you deliver?+

For self-directed projects, you'll get 2-3 distinct takes per line or script section as standard. More on request. Each take is a genuinely different interpretation, not just a subtle pitch variation.

04What file formats do you deliver?+

WAV (24-bit, 48kHz) as standard, with MP3s or other formats available on request. Files come labeled according to your preferred naming convention, properly gain-staged, and ready to drop into your edit.

05Do you do your own editing?+

Yes. All files are edited in Reaper and processed with iZotope RX for broadcast-ready delivery. Mouth clicks, breaths, and room noise are all handled before files leave the studio, unless you request otherwise.

The Studio

01What's your studio setup?+

Sennheiser MKH-416 microphone, Apollo Solo interface, Reaper DAW with iZotope RX for processing, all inside a Studiobricks One XXL acoustic booth. The space is broadcast-ready and quieter than most commercial studios.

02Where are you based?+

Jenna records from a professional home studio. Location details are shared after booking for security and privacy.

03Can I visit the studio?+

For live sessions, most clients prefer remote over Source-Connect or Zoom. In-person sessions can be arranged for local projects with advance notice.

Revisions & Rights

01How many revisions are included?+

Two rounds of revisions are included as standard for every project. Most projects don't need any. If further revisions are needed due to a script change or new direction, they're quoted transparently.

02Who owns the recording?+

Usage rights are defined in the booking and quote. For most commercial work, Jenna grants the client usage rights for the agreed scope (market, duration, platforms). Full buyouts are available for additional fees.

03Can I use the recording for something new later?+

Yes. Extended or additional usage can be negotiated after the original project. Get in touch with the new scope and she'll quote the expansion.

Other

01Do you coach?+

Yes, 1-on-1, over Zoom, for working and emerging voice actors. See the Coaching page for detail, or reach out through the contact form.

02How do I join the Scrappy VO Collective?+

Membership is currently invite-based. Drop Jenna a line through the contact form and mention Scrappy. She'll send you an intake link.

03Can you help with a demo?+

Jenna doesn't produce demos for hire, but she can help you plan one through coaching and recommend demo producers she trusts.
